Bio & Artistic Journey
Hi, I’m Ivy Kodangelo — painter, mentor, and lifelong explorer of what it means to create with feeling.
My journey began as a quiet child blending colors in sketchbooks and daydreaming about light and texture. Over the years, that curiosity turned into formal study, countless canvases, and exhibitions that stretched from local galleries to international showcases.
But something shifted for me along the way: I discovered that the most fulfilling part of being an artist wasn’t just the making — it was the sharing. I began coaching other artists who felt stuck, unseen, or disconnected from their voice. Watching someone else rediscover their creativity became its own kind of art — and I knew I had found my second calling.
Now, I balance my own studio practice with creative coaching that helps others feel more confident, expressive, and grounded in their unique style.
My Philosophy
I believe that art is a mirror, a release, and a conversation — all at once.
My approach blends intuitive mark-making with technical foundation, helping artists reconnect to their inner guidance and trust the process.
Creativity isn’t about perfection. It’s about presence.
Whether you’re layering oil on canvas or experimenting with mixed media, I guide you to make choices from emotion, curiosity, and clarity — not fear or rules. Every brushstroke is a step closer to who you really are.
